I want to be a cat for just one day...

Look at what I caught Moira doing this morning. Sunbathing!

Talk about a simple life.

I don't really have a whole lot to report at the moment. It's been another busy busy week of work. I had a fantastic review yesterday at work. I am yet again a Level I employee again for the year (that's the best rating you can get) and am in a great position for a muy excelente raise. My boss actually told me that she was at a loss for the "areas for improvement" section of my performance review, which means, quite simply, that I have mastered my job and do it perfectly. Of course, I was ecstatic that my boss is so happy with me, but it can only mean one thing. In a year or so, they are going to start pressuring me again to be a supervisor, and that's not something I want to do! Oh, well. For the time being, I'm okay.

Pregnancy-wise, not much change. I'm nauseous, queasy, feel icky most of the time, and I'm exhausted 24-7 no matter how much sleep I get. I woke up at 3 am last night sick to my stomach. My chest looks like I have breast implants and it hurts to wear a bra. It's hard to tell where my skin stops and my lips begin without the constant layering of makeup I have to put on to convince people that I'm really not a corpse. I'm still having trouble eating in the morning, although I'm trying. And the halitosis is somewhat better, although still there. I have to be honest, if my boobs didn't look like a porn star's, I'd seriously think I just had the flu and wasn't pregnant!

P was going to go hunting this weekend, but at the last minute he decided to stay home, so I've got him all to myself this weekend. We're thinking we will work on the cabinets Sunday. Tomorrow is major grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. I got a $50 giftcard from work for being ranked #1 in customer service, so it's going towards groceries. We have no food in the house and we desperately need some!

That's all from here. I'm brain dead from work...too dead to attempt any memes. This weekend, I promise!

Erica, it was good to see a post from you. Your Moira reminds me of my Chelsea. She spends most of her days sunbathing and napping. LOL Cute pic. Congrats on your review and take care this weekend. Have a relaxing weekend with very little pregnancy discomfort. :)

I love it when cats just plop themselves down and stretch out like that. Congratulations on the job review! I hope the nausea stops soon :)
