Memories of Me/Erica/Moira

I'm shamelessly copying this from Dana's blog. It sure is neat to read all the memories that people have of her! Please participate...I'd love to read what you have to say, whether you have met me in real life or not, no matter how small the memory is...and I'll respond to ALL comments in the comments section.

Post a memory you have of me. Any memory at all. Then post this in your own blog if you want to see what others remember about you.

And this is me.

Thanks for playing.

So many memories! Endless emails/IMs when I first started rotating and working out lists and your wonderfully encouraging notes. Another is racing to finish the teacup rose at the Stitchworks retreat and you staying up late with Mom so she *would* finish! I can't thank you enough for that one :)

I don't have a blog but I wanted to post a comment too. I remember seeing you around the TWBB since the late 90's or so. I asked for your updates on WIPS and was suprised one day to see your BFL pictures included in your WIP update. That started me on my own journey and I lost 30 pounds... all because you sent that link!! It's always a struggle and it's a comfort to know that as incredible inspiration that you are, you too struggle with it, so we can struggle together.

Thank you Erica!

Erica was one of the first people to make a comment on my blog and I was so excited that someone other than my mother was reading it!

I remember a lady who is so amazingly focused on getting fit, that it inspired a great many people (me included) to work harder towards that end.

Thank you! {{hug}}

I remember you posting a comment to ask how in the world my brother managed to break a bone in his elbow. I followed the link to your blog and I've been reading it ever since! I love seeing your WIPs progress on your website, too.

First you were the girl with the huge rotation who could actually stick to it. Then you were the girl going on a BFL quest. Now you I think of you as the girl who can do anything she sets her mind to.

I wrote a comment earlier, but it doesn't seem to have posted. So I'll write what I can remember. I tried to think of a memory that was a) not our first meeting, b) not too recent, and c) didn't involve us b*tching about something. I came to the conclusion that a) my long-term memory is bad, b) my short-term memory is good up to about 3 months, and c) we b*tch a lot! :-)

I'm going to go with a bundle of memories. The times that we visited Dan. Talking politics with Dan. Talking religion with Dan. Trying to pick mattes and frames for someone else while he rapped us on the fingers or told us to be quiet. We don't get any of that character at the new place! Anyway, that's my memory. At least, that's the one I'm willing to share on a public blog. :-)
